Situated on a sunny terrace to the south of Innsbruck there are the charming little villages of Aldrans, Sistrans and Ampass. Just three kilometres from the bustling capital of the Tyrol, they offer an oasis of tranquillity and relaxation. With its abundance of walking paths over fields and meadows and through shady forests, visitors can slow down, switch off and recharge their batteries.

However, the tranquil, idyllic location is not only perfect for nature enthusiasts. Old farmhouses, long-lived customs and traditions, sites shrouded in myth and even an original, intact Roman milliarium offer a fascinating insight into the local history.
