When Autumn arrives in all its colour and glory, then it’s the perfect time of the year to enjoy breathtakingly scenic hikes and delicious seasonal specialities and to savour age-old traditions and customs. We have a colourful variety of autumn hikes here in Axams and the surrounding area for you to enjoy, along with a wealth of seasonal customs and traditions, and a mouth-watering selection of culinary specialities.

Tasty, traditional delicacies, freshly harvested fruit and vegetables, freshly squeezed juices and a fine selection of local schnapps – all colourfully on display at the farmers’ market. Hearty soups, venison dishes, farmers’ platters or maybe even a congenial “Törggelen” evening with roast chestnuts, cured “Speck”, Tyrolean “Krapfen” and wine – it’s all on offer in our convivial taverns and restaurants.
