With the ski kindergarten and its baby drag lift located right in the village centre, little ones can learn how to ski in a relaxed, fun-filled manner. With the Olympic ski area Axamer Lizum just “round the corner” less than ten minutes away, Birgitz is perfect for adult skiers too, from absolute beginners to expert carvers. Those who choose to do their bit for the environment and leave the car at home can take the ski bus to the Lizum, a service that is free of charge for our guests staying in Birgitz. 

Glistening, pristine deep snow slopes, immaculately groomed pistes, numerous lift facilities and the “Olympiabahn” funicular are all just waiting for ardent skiers, snowboarders and freeskiers who value the ski area’s snow-reliable conditions as well as its “additional bonuses” such as the Snowpark and the Speed Corner.
