Hiking boots and mountain bikes

One particularly scenic walk is along the Almenweg path that leads from the Götzner Alm mountain hut (1,542 m) via the Raitiser Alm and the Mutterer Alm (1,553 m and 1,608 m respectively) to the Kreither Alm mountain hut. Flat to gently sloping, the wide forest track takes you from one picturesque “Alm” to the next. With a walking time of just around 30 minutes between each hut, it is particularly suited to families with children. Breathtaking viewpoints and numerous benches offer stops to linger and rest along the way.

Hikes and Mountain bike tours

The guided walks and hikes, free of charge for guests staying in Götzens, also take you to some of the region’s most idyllic mountain huts and pastures.
