Village church and village culture
The church in Grinzens is a very special one – but not because it’s so old, but rather because it’s so “young”. Dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, Grinzens Church was only completed in 1954. Its construction was made possible mainly through collections and donations and, of course, the 7,843 voluntary hours of work carried out by the inhabitants of Grinzens and the surrounding area.
Enthusiastic commitment and remarkable talent can also be assigned to the local theatre group “Sendersbühne”, the performances and passions plays of which have received much critical acclaim both within and beyond the region. A repertoire well worth exploring.
