Christmas in the Mountains
Held annually on 23rd December, 5:30pm at the village center of Igls.
Christmas carols are performed at the village square beneath the Christmas tree and in front of the crib. The parade features some 200 angels, shepherds and animals, accompanying the sleigh with Mary, Joseph and the infant Jesus, choirs, marching bands, wind ensembles, and other festive entries. The Christmas in the Mountains Event draws to a close with the joint singing of "Silent Night, Holy Night", which is a gift to visitors of all ages.
