The Zirbenweg Trail

The Zirbenweg Trail is an easy and very popular footpath above Innsbruck - the Capital of the Alps.

This 7km-long mountain promenade is located at an elevation of 2000m in the Patscherkofel-Zirmberg nature reserve. It leads through an ancient forest of Stone Pines and offers a breathtaking panorama and a stunning view of the Inn Valley. It’s part of the Eagle Trail.

Time to complete: 2 ½ h. Access via the Patscherkofel cable railway or the Glungezer chair lift (also with Innsbruck Card)

The Zirbenweg Trail has opened from July to September, please follow the operation durations of the respective mountain station.
