Schloss Igls invites you for a singular holiday experience and memorable events

A glistening little jewel, nestled amid 3,500m² of mature parkland on a sunny plateau in the foothills just a 10 minute drive from Innsbruck, Schloss Igls was built originally as a noble summer residence in 1887. Staying at this delightful hideaway and savouring its unique ambience is definitely a memorable experience. There are 18 guest rooms and suites – including a 110 m² Presidential Suite – to accommodate between 10 and 33 persons, depending on room occupancy. Besides the sumptuous materials and exquisite artwork, there are many tasteful little touches to catch your eye, creating an inimitable, special atmosphere. Needless to say, each room features its own personality and style.

In 2012, Schloss Igls – known for many years as Schlosshotel Igls – was made available for holiday rental and as an exclusive and elegant venue for festive family celebrations and stylish parties. Also corporate events such as meetings and conferences can be hosted in a setting that is both intimate and inspiring. And, yes, you have guessed correctly: Its dream-like ambience makes Schloss Igls a wonderfully romantic filming location.

Featuring a spectacularly scenic mountain backdrop, the castle grounds beckon you to chill and relax in peaceful, natural surroundings. The covered castle terrace with its open fire place is the ideal spot for a leisurely chat, before adjourning to the Blue Salon for indepth brain-storming sessions. The charming ‘Schlossbar’ and lounge area, together with a restaurant seating up to 50 persons, round off the outstanding social amenities at Schloss Igls. From the relaxing indoor pool area you have the most fabulous panoramic views, and utter wellbeing is guaranteed at the Schloss Spa with its sauna area, steam room, dunk tank and massage facilities. Besides a parking garage offering space for six cars there is also ample on-site outdoor parking.

To make your stay truly special and memorable, you may want to take advantage of the Schloss Igls’ convenient ‘one-stop – one team’ catering concept, ranging from breakfast service to limousine rental. An overnight stay at the castle costs € 4,500 for up to 10 persons, breakfast is available on request at an additional charge of € 26 per person, per day. Parties of up to 33 persons spend a full weekend at a rate of € 16,500 which includes daily housekeeping. Additional services are available at a surcharge.

True to the adage that good things often come in pairs, Schloss Igls can be rented in combination with nearby Schloss Friedberg. Located between Volders and Wattens - a mere 10 minute drive to the east of Innsbruck - this outstanding venue complements Schloss Igls to perfection. Both locations are secluded hideaways with an inimitable character that renders special occasions truly unforgettable. Rented as a duet, Schloss Igls and Schloss Friedberg provide an intimate, exclusive setting for successful events, big or small.
