Winter holidays in Kematen

Winter fun right on the doorstep
The family-friendly Rangger Köpfl ski area with its sun-blessed slopes, eight-seater cable-car, four drag tows, Snowpark and Kids Park for the little ones, offers excellent conditions and facilities for both skiers and snowboarders.

The Olympic-standard Axamer Lizum ski area, with its immaculately groomed slopes, Olympic downhill run and numerous lift facilities, also offers everything you could ever need for a perfect day’s skiing or snowboarding. And the glistening white of the deep snow slopes offers the ultimate kick for boarders and freeskiers.

The “height” of winter pleasure

The Sellraintal valley with its ski resort Kühtai, just a stone’s throw from Kematen, offers a paradise for winter sports aficionados.

The region is home to one of the Tyrol’s most stunning areas for backcountry skiing. And in Kühtai, situated at an elevation of over 2,000 metres, a snow guarantee from December right through to May is something that goes without saying. With immaculately groomed slopes, the k-park for snowboarders and a network of cross-country ski tracks, the area offers a world of winter fun in the great outdoors for both avid experts and total beginners.

Kematen, with its central geographical location, is within easy reach of several other ski areas; Seefeld, the Ötztal valley and the Stubai Glacier, for example, are just 15 to 45 minutes away.

Tobogganing in Kematen!

The area also offers plenty of opportunities for tobogganing, and night-time tobogganing on the floodlit track promises an evening of fun and romance.
