The Muttereralm “adventure mountain” offers a world of fun and action for families. Focussing on hands-on natural materials such as water, wood, sand and stone, children can explore and experiment with all their senses. Between the reservoir, the Sennalm mountain hut and the cable-car top station you’ll discover a world of exciting themed play areas including a magic water area, hanging tree houses and an adventure playground, along with breathtaking views from the reservoir.

The magic water, with its water wheels, channels and ponds, offers irresistible fun for our youngest guests. Here they can paddle, splish and splash to their hearts’ content.  But there’s plenty to keep little explorers occupied on dry land too, from a tepee village to an adventure playground complete with slides and a huge sand play area. The various themed areas are all connected by wheelchair accessible paths and bare-foot trails.

The hanging tree houses are one of the most popular attractions with children and adults alike. Almost every kid dreams of having their own tree house. Here on the Mutterer Alm mountain, the tree houses are, quite literally, castles in the air. The spacious, two-storey wooden structures, complete with climbing nets, seating areas and protective roof sheeting, are every (big) kid’s dream come true.
