In both, summer and winter, the Muttereralm area is a magnet for guests and local residents, visitors of 50-plus – ‘best agers’ – and families with children. There’s something for everyone to enjoy with the diverse product offered by our local mountain!

The ‘adventure mountain’ is a huge attraction during summertime, with its numerous walking opportunities such as the famous ‘Innsbrucker Almenweg’ trail through the meadows, the large Alpine adventure playground between the mountain station and the panoramic lake, and a wide range of stopping-off points, ranging from a typical Tyrolean meadow to the Muttereralm restaurant, ever-popular with day-trippers.

Muttereralm is also the ideal family area in winter, when it shows off its more sporty side thanks to the new extension provided by the "Götzens slope". People have been learning to ski for the first time and perfecting existing skills in these parts for generations now! Our local mountain is also a big hit with ski-tourers: with a specially set-up touring track for ascending the mountain and perfectly prepared pistes for skiing back down, thousands of ski-tourers are lured back to us here at Mutters every year.
