Summer Holidays in Mutters
A hikers’ haven
Both the Mutterer Alm and the neighbouring Stubaital valley offer a haven for hikers of all abilities, from those who enjoy pleasant, leisurely strolls to those who prefer a more challenging climb.
The Innsbrucker Almenweg, for example, offers a breathtakingly scenic hike from the Mutterer Alm (1,608 m) to the Raitiser Alm and Kreither Alm mountain huts (1,553 m and 1,608 m respectively) and on into the Stubaital valley. The trail then leads in a westerly direction to the Götzner Alm (1,542 m) and Birgitzer Alm (1,808 m). It then continues on to the Kemater Alm (1,673 m). Savour the stunning panoramic vista of the Inn Valley and enjoy the culinary treats and warm hospitality served up in the congenial mountain huts.
Nature Watch hikes offer a unique outdoor experience. Accompanied by a qualified guide and kitted out with Swarovski Optik binoculars, you can explore the untouched natural surroundings and experience nature from a different angle. (Price per person: € 12).
All our guests staying in Mutters are invited to join in the free-of-charge programme of guided walks and hikes.
