But other ski areas belonging to the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck are also within easy reach. How do you get to them? Very simply – you just hop on the free ski bus that takes guests to the Axamer Lizum ski area with its immaculately groomed pistes and deep-snow slopes, or to the neighbouring valley of Stubaital with its trendy Schlick 2000 and the fantastic Stubai Glacier ski areas – a paradise for skiers and snowboarders.

The Natters-Mutters Cross-Country Ski Centre boasts 30 kilometres of perfectly groomed tracks (can vary depending on snow conditions) for beginners and experts, for skaters and classic skiers alike. Here you can enjoy memorable hours amidst pristine, untouched natural surrounding – and all free of charge.

Mutters offers two natural toboggan runs. The four kilometre-long toboggan track from the Mutterer Alm to the Nockhof inn can either be reached on foot, or you can take the eight-seater cable-car; the Scheipenhof toboggan run is ideally suited to families.

Those who enjoy a spot of magical romance will delight in the guided torchlight walk to the Natterer Boden restaurant where, after a magical 50-minute walk through the glistening winter wonderland, you can finish off the evening with a cosy get-together in a rustic atmosphere complete with traditional folk music.
