… skiing, for example. The family-friendly Mutterer Alm ski area offers perfect conditions for beginners and ”best agers”. And the new Götzner downhill run is ideal for those who enjoy something more challenging.

But other ski areas belonging to the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck are also within easy reach. How do you get to them? Very simply – you just hop on the free ski bus that takes guests to the Axamer Lizum ski area with its immaculately groomed pistes and deep-snow slopes, or to the neighbouring valley of Stubaital with its trendy Schlick 2000 and the fantastic Stubai Glacier ski areas – a paradise for skiers and snowboarders.

Mutters offers a wide variety of sports amenities including around 30 kilometres of cross-country ski trails (can vary depending on snow conditions) and two natural toboggan runs. The four kilometre-long toboggan track from the Mutterer Alm to the Nockhof inn can either be reached on foot, or you can take the eight-seater cable-car; the Scheipenhof toboggan run is ideally suited to families.
