Nature’s hidden treasures are waiting to be explored! And there is nothing like a leisurely break at one of the convivial mountain huts dotted across the alpine pastures.

The way to the summit

Thanks to the new eight-seater cable-car, lovers of the great outdoors are transported effortlessly up to the Rangger Köpfl hiking area. Starting at the Stiglreith station, there are a variety of tracks and trails for both easy and challenging hikes. All those who are bent on conquering a summit should proceed as follows: Take the gently ascending trail with breathtaking views of the Inn valley that leads to the Rosskogelhütte, at an elevation of 1,777 metres. After suitable fortification, the final stage up to the mighty summit cross should be just a breeze. The local programme of guided walks and hikes, free of charge for guests with the Guest Card, offers something to suit everyone.

The trail up to the Rosskogelhütte is also great for mountain biking. From the bottom station of the eight-seater cable-car, the ascent to the Rosskogelhütte takes around two-and-a-half hours and covers 921 metres of elevation. After all the uphill effort, it is time for a well-earned rest, a cold refreshment and a hearty snack on the sun-drenched terrace while taking in the stunning mountain panorama.
