Experience Patsch
Its name is reminiscent of a fanfare signal
The village lies like a tiny jewel on the sunny mountain plateau at the foot of the mountain which inherited its name from the village – the Patscherkofel. Visitors who spend their holiday here value the village’s close proximity to the city of Innsbruck, its sun-blessed location and the beauty of the untouched natural surroundings.
The vast skiing and hiking areas are situated virtually on the doorstep, but cyclists and mountain bikers are equally spoilt for choice here. The gently sloping plateau is perfectly suited to long, leisurely walks at any time of the year and offers visitors first-hand experience of the unique beauty of an Alpine landscape.
All guests staying in Patsch can take part in the free programme of guided walks and hikes – equipment included – and travel with the free ski bus to the ski areas belonging to the
Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck. In addition, you can tee off in one of the area’s many golf courses, get yourself in the saddle in western Austria’s largest equestrian centre, or take a refreshing dip in the idyllic Lansersee lake.
The village’s ideal location in terms of transport connections is yet another plus factor in Patsch. The city of Innsbruck is a mere ten-minute drive away, and the A13 Brenner motorway is also close, yet in no way intrusive, due to its location far down in the Wipptal valley.
