On the "Path of Liberation"

Those in search of peace and closeness to nature don’t have to look far here in Ranggen...

The "Way of reflection" is a secluded woodland path that inspires introspection and contemplation along its 4 ½ kilometres. Created by local artists from Ranggen, the seven stops along the way deal with the biblical works of mercy. Oversized hands, for example, appear to catch the water from the little waterfall, while the Resurrection Chapel, likewise conceived and constructed by local artists and associations, is both the turning point and the highest point of the woodland trail.

The return path leads along the Rangger mountain trail back to the starting point, the Parish Church of St. Magnus. This forest trail is ideally suited to families. Once back at the starting point, pay a short visit to the Parish Church of St. Magnus, home to one of the Tyrol’s most beautiful vestries.
