Summer Holidays in Rinn

The pleasure of hiking
The village of Rinn and the surrounding area boasts a wide variety of walking and hiking tracks and trails. Guests staying in Rinn can make use of the free hikers’ bus and take part in the guided walks and hikes led by professional hiking guides from Innsbruck’s Alpine School (ASI). From Monday to Friday, they take you on the most scenic and memorable walks and hikes that the area has to offer, and, at the same time, you can discover all about the region and its people.

The Speckbacherweg trail is ideal for those who like to hike at a leisurely pace. Starting in the village of Rinn itself, the trail takes you to St. Peter in Ellbögen and, in the opposite direction, to the village of Tulfes. Breathtaking viewpoints and numerous benches offer stops to linger and rest along the way.

If you enjoy "hut to hut" hiking, then the Rinner Alm Alpine hut is an ideal starting point. From there you can walk via three other mountain huts – the Aldranser Alm, the Sistranser Alm and the Lanser Alm – all the way to the Patscherkofel, Innsbruck’s landmark mountain where, during the months of June and July, you can see the stunningly colourful Alpine roses in bloom. During the other months, you can experience a panoramic vista of breathtaking proportions and, of course, savour a mouth-watering choice of Tyrolean specialities.

Golf & Gourmet
