Experience Rum
Here, at an elevation of 621 metres, the view of the Inn Valley is a stunning one, and the sunny location on the south-facing slopes of the Nordkette mountain range, along with the picturesque Alpine surroundings, make this a very pleasant spot. Numerous traditional farmhouses bear witness to the rural past of Rum which, with its 8,900 inhabitants, has grown to become a market town.
Close to the city: Whether you use your own car or public transport, the city with its shops and cultural attractions, is, quite literally, on your doorstep.
Close to nature: The “Alpenpark Karwendel” is equally close; a unique protected landscape area with a vast network of hiking and mountain biking trails and numerous traditional Alpine pastures and huts.
During the winter months, a free ski bus takes guests staying in Rum to the slopes and cross-country tracks that belong to the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck. Alternatively, you can enjoy the many groomed winter hiking trails around Innsbruck.
