Summertime – time to get active

The mountain pastures and huts that surround the village of Sistrans are a particularly popular destination for mountain bikers. A hearty Tyrolean platter tastes even better after an uphill cycle. But golf enthusiasts, too, will find an attractive playground on which to indulge their passion. The courses in Igls, Lans and Rinn are all within easy driving distance and offer Alpine golf at its finest.

After all that sport and exercise, what better way to cool down than with a refreshing dip in the Lansersee lake, a picturesquely situated natural lake that offers free admission to all guests staying in Sistrans. (The car park charge is also reimbursed). An invigorating swim, then a spot of sunbathing, perhaps followed by a pleasant evening stroll around the lake – the perfect end to a perfect day.
