With a network of groomed winter hiking trails leading over sun-drenched fields and meadows, you can enjoy invigorating exercise in the great outdoors and the crisp, clear winter air tingling in your nose. The network of trails stretches as far as Igls, Lans and Aldrans. The area also has plenty to offer all ice-skating aficionados – the villages of Sistrans and Aldrans are both home to skating rinks and – when temperatures drop far enough – skating on the frozen Lansersee lake offers an unforgettable winter-holiday experience.

Apropos unforgettable experiences – not far from Sistrans, the Olympia bobsleigh and luge track offers an enticingly icy adventure. Accompanied by an experienced pilot, special visitors’ bobsleighs enable guests to experience the thrill of hurtling down the ice track which is still, incidentally, regularly used by professional racers.
