We don’t have a shop, a bank or a post office – and yet we love our little hamlet…

… just like the guests who visit us in summer and winter. Here, at one of the Tyrol’s most picturesque valley-ends, we have the most stunning backcountry skiing areas right on our doorstep, complete with a themed backcountry trail. High-altitude cross-country skiing and ice climbing are also on the menu of high-Alpine sports. The winter sport resort of Kühtai, with its endless ski slopes, snowboarders’ “Snowpark” and sunshine galore, is a mere eight kilometres away.

And the other great thing about staying here is that you have the best of two worlds – the solitude of the mountains and the buzz of urban life, because the city of Innsbruck is just half-an-hour’s drive away, so a shopping spree or a visit to the museum are easy to fit in.

During the summer months, you can savour the outstanding air quality here in our mountains, enjoy the vibrant display of the flowering Alpine roses, listen to the cry of the circling eagle or simply take in the silence and solitude.
