Fine powder snow, fantastic firn
The Sellrain mountains are a very popular ski-touring area in the Tyrol from first snowfall of the winter right through to the month of May when the snow in the valley has long-since been chased away by the spring.
Car-parking is available at all the starting points (parking fees may apply).
Inexperienced backcountry skiers are advised to use the services of a trained mountain and ski guide. For further information visit Follow me, die Ski- und Bergsportschule
Checking the up-to-date reports on avalanche conditions is of crucial importance before tackling a high-alpine ski tour.
