A winter wonderland of snow white and sky blue
During the winter months, Zirl and its surrounding holiday villages offer never-ending fun in the snow. The Rangger Köpfl, Axamer Lizum, Seefeld and Kühtai ski areas, along with the ski areas around Innsbruck and in the Ötztal valley, can all be reached in just 15 to 45 minutes using the free ski bus. 

And, of course, a winter holiday wouldn’t be a winter holiday without a romantic toboggan ride. After a one-and-a-half hour walk up to the Brunnal mountain hut, you can enjoy the warmth and fortify yourself suitably before whizzing down the seven kilometre-long natural track back to the village.

A winter wonderland of snow white and sky blue can also be experienced on the well-groomed cross-country ski track (7 kilometres), on the ice rink, during a game of Alpine-style curling or whilst enjoying a relaxing winter hike.
