Kom binnen in de origineel nagebouwde historische vertrekken op de boerderij en ervaar hoe de Tirolers vroeger hebben geleefd. Het Tiroler Volkskunstmuseum naast de keizerlijke hofkerk herbergt de belangrijkste verzameling cultuurgoed van de plaatselijke geschiedenis. Daartoe behoren ook boeren handwerken en kunstvaardige voorwerpen; beschilderde dekenkisten, werktuigen en Kerstkribbes. Bonte klederdrachtgewaden tonen de modieuze veelzijdigheid van de regio. Tentoonstellingen over thema's zoals traditionele feesten, alledaagse voorwerpen en de zorgen van vroegere tijden laten zien, wat de mensen in Innsbruck en Tirol door de eeuwen heen heeft bewogen.
