The main tasks of Innsbruck Tourism include Destinations Marketing (product development, advertisement, PR, sales and sales promotion), management of the branch offices in Innsbruck - the Capital of the Alps - and its Holiday Villages to provide information and service for guest and members, and the strategic tourism development and activities in Innsbruck - the Capital of the Alps - and its Holiday Villages.
Innsbruck Tourism is the main associate of Innsbruck Reservierung GmbH, an incoming agency dealing with hotel reservations, city tours and special promotions in the greater Innsbruck area.
With a total of 12,000 association members, 15,900 beds, 900,000 arrivals, 2.1 million bed nights and up to 4 million day guests per year, Innsbruck Tourism ranks among Austria’s largest non-profit tourism organizations. Value added resulting from tourism in the Innsbruck region amounts to approx. Euro 400 million p.a.
Innsbruck Tourism is responsible for tourism matters in Innsbruck (incl. Igls) and its 24 regional holiday villages of:
