All
Innsbruck's buses (incl.Nightliner, Sightseer) are wheel chair accessible low floor buses...
According to the Austrian Law of Transport bus drivers are not allowed to leave their seats during their rounds. Therefore they are not allowed to help you to get on and off the buses (Even though they will do that occasionally). To get on and off the buses you'll need assistance and depend on the help of other travellers.
Trams are
not wheel chair accessible as yet. New tram tracks are being built and will operate with new trams in 2009. These trams will be wheel chair accessible.
Lifts, Cable Cars, Funiculars
Some of our lifts, cable cars and funiculars are wheel chair accessible. Staff will always help you to get on and off.

Muttereralmbahnen
The bottom station of the Muttereralmbahn can only be reached by car as the road to the entrance is rather steep.
Staff will help you to get into the closed cablecars (6 persons) as well as help you back into your wheel chair on the top.
The restaurant is just besides the exit of the cable car station and can be reached without barriers.
A visit to the "adventure mountain" is only advisable in a light wheel chair with the help of an accompaning person. The trail is rather steep. On the top the trails are easier accessable.
