Big air, bold style, huge smiles: On February 3rd and 4th Innsbruck is once again host of the Air+Style and our beloved small town definitely stands out among the three stations – not only is the legendary festival originally from Innsbruck, there is just no way you could fake those authentic mountain vibes. The Olympiaworld provides the perfect venue for the festival to grow bigger, better and higher every year, so go ahead and raise your expectations, they will easily be met! With 17 music acts and 38 riders this year’s Air+Style bursts at all seams, so what we get is a double shot of the action, with two days of sport, style and party. The framework programme will blow your mind too: The Air+Style Skate Contest celebrates its comeback and Pros from all over the world don’t miss the chance to show Innsbruck’s scene what they got to offer. One word: #Skills!

Welcome to the jungle!

? ?…the air is so electric, girls are getting hectic, where are the drinks, where are the drinks! ? ?

The hottest Austrian export Bilderbuch boosts this year’s event of events in Innsbruck to a whole new level. But hold on to your Softdrinks: Not only Maurice – obviously dressed in finest silk – contributes to a major style-overdose at the upcoming Air+Style. Jan Delay of Germany’s legendary group Beginner has been eating coolness for breakfast for the last 13 years, it seems. And as Indie is big among Innsbruck’s locals, they of course have not been forgotten, Biffy Clyro will certainly heat up the crowd with their grungy guitar riffs. The Naked And Famous, Fünf Sterne Deluxe, Lucky Chops, Famous Deck Team, Wax Wreckaz and many more are on the agenda, serving music at it’s finest on two stages to Innsbruck’s sound gourmets. After the party is before the party and anyone who still has cold limps by the end of the night can shake’em off to the deep beats of Pendulum, Tomm¥ €a$h, Red Bull Who Rockz the Crowd und Violett Shock on Saturday from 9:30 pm to 5 am.

Finally. We all know that there was something missing at the Air+Style in the past years… maybe we could not quite grasp it, but we definitely felt it: Girls who ride! As there is no real game without women on board, this year snowboarder dudes will share the ramp with crazily talented chicks, and they certainly will be sending it big time. Fingers crossed for Anna Gasser – along with her competitors Aimee Fuller, Šárka Pan?ochová and Cheryl Maas she will be raising the level of women snowboarding to a new dimension. So boys, you better wrap up warmly! Clemens Millauer and Philipp Kundratitz represent Austria, hopefully giving Sebastian Toutant a hard time to defend his lead. Markus Kleveland and Yuki Kadono will also have strong intentions not to let any other athlete go home with the prestigious Ring of Glory – so plenty of healthy fighting spirit and zero boredom are guaranteed!
