The month of February 2019 is still in a good mood! After this clear starry night, morning temperatures will be quite low for the time of year, but as soon as the sun appears it will shine from a perfectly blue sky and make temperatures rise to spring-like values.

High pressure will reach its climax on Monday! Furthermore, the temperatures will be mild. We can thus look forward to a marvellous day!

The next harmless clouds will not arrive before Tuesday and Wednesday.

The course of this amateur stage race follows the traces of the Giro d’Italia in seven stages across more than 700 kilometers and 17.000 meters ascent. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary the organizers have created a unique route including almost all of the “cycling sanctuaries” in Tyrol and the Dolomites. With Passo di Stelvio, Passo del Rombo and Passo Gardena the race week includes everything that lets the cyclists heart beat higher.

Amateur cyclists have the unique opportunity to compare their own performance with the professionals. The event offers premium service to all the participants. There is the option to compete as a single rider, in a team of two or in a team of four. This gives the riders the opportunity to a one-of-a-kind race experience in the Alps.

Throughout the whole race week the participants receive full service on highest level. During all the stages aid stadions provide snacks, fruits and fresh filled water bottle to the participants. Race atmosphere is guaranteed at each stage arrival with a finish line party.

The flower ceremony every evening honors the winners of the day and the overall leaders. Participants as well as the spectators experience real cycling passion.

The aim of PEAKBREAK - The Alps Race is to give the participants the opportunity to discover their limits and wants to motivate them to exceed them.  The ambitious course is a challenge for every amateur cyclist. “Even though you will not mix up the leaders group”, says race director Tom Kropiwnicki from the organzing agency mideasports, “finally all the PEAKBREAK finishers are winners.

They have exceeded their limits and have made a priceless experience.”
