Alpengasthof Lüsens is an alpine guesthouse and mountain hut located 1,670 metres above sea level in the upper Sellrain Valley near Gries. It is set against a breathtaking backdrop, surrounded by the Schöntalspitze, the Lisenser Villerspitze, the Hohe Villerspitze and the Lisenser Fernerkogel mountains. The hut has a long history that dates back to the 17th century but the trail to the picturesque alpine restaurant is actually quite short. From Praxmar in the Sellrain Valley, it only takes a good half an hour on foot.
At the hut, good Tyrolean home-cooked food is served on a sunny terrace or in the cosy and welcoming dining rooms. Accommodation is also available for overnight stays.
