Before the sun can do its job, it has to chase away the misty remnants of the humid air which arrived here last night. We can then look forward to a pleasant day.

Tendency

Wednesday, the fantastic weather will continue! It will remain sunny and dry and the temperatures will be spring-like. Thursday and Friday will bring a mix of heavy cloud, showers and short clear spells

Cable cars

USING LIFTS

Here you’ll find information about the lifts and cable cars that allow you to travel with a bike. Bike transport is ideal for downhill fans or anyone who wants to get up high before starting a longer ride. Of course, you can also transport your bike back to the valley if you’re not keen on racing down the mountain on two wheels. It’s certainly a smoother, safer ride and you’re protected from the weather.

Four trails, Pumptrack, Dual Speed, a biking centre and practice areas right above Bike City.

Innsbruck's BikePark at the MuttereralmPark consists of the family-friendly Crazy Family and Braking Distance trails, plus the Auerhahn and Bulgarian Way flow trails fro experienced bikers and downhill riders. A practice area and kids' park near the Muttereralm restaurants (near the cable car) complete the offer! Whether young or old, newbies can practice their biking techniques and prepare themselves for the downhill trails on three routes here, all with different difficulty levels. And to help you get to the top, we even have a conveyer belt! Further information on the new BikePark page

Crazy Family (Mutters): A trail for families and children. Flowing and almost flat, this route takes you through the natural forest and across the piste from the Muttereralm cable-car valley station to its intermediate stop. Suitable for adventure-hungry beginners from young to old, and even experienced tourers have the opportunity to prepare themselves for more challenging trails here. Experienced downhill bikers use the steep walls to perfect their technique and enjoy the flow.

Braking Distance (Mutters): The Braking Distance trail connects the Crazy Family trail at the Muttereralm cable-car intermediate station to the valley station. This simple route crosses over the Mountain Cart run (forestry trail). Auerhahn Trail: The Auerhahn Trail in Götzens starts fast, sporty and curvy. Just like in a marble run, the route flies across the meadows and the rider first gets the flow feeling upon reaching one of the many simple jumps. The Auerhahn Trail goes from the Muttereralm mountain station to the Nockspitzbahn intermediate stop, and is part of the downhill run. The logical extension into the valley is the natural Bulgarian Way. Between the mountain station at Pfriemesköpfl and the Götznerabfahrt turn-off near the Muttereralm reservoir, the trail follows the edge of the piste. From here, there are connections to the trails at the Muttereralm.

Bulgarian Way (Götzens): The Bulgarian Way single trail is a classic, natural downhill trail, snaking its way over tree roots, jumps and switchbacks through the forest and over the piste from the Nockspitzbahn cable-car intermediate stop towards Götzens. A real party for downhill and enduro bikers who want to challenge themselves and ride like their Crankworx heroes. Flowtrail: BikePark designer Tom Pro's masterpiece of flow. 180 bends and many small and simple jumps have turned this trail into a flow classic in Innsbruck's BikePark. The trail runs from the Muttereralm intermediate stop to the valley station. There is even the possibility of connecting the trail with the Bulgarian Way into a 7-kilometre-long route with an altitude difference of 600 metres, offering downhill flow fun for all levels of experience. The family-friendly masterpiece from Canada's Tom Pro will captivate every rider. Important: the trail should be ready for the end of June, but currently runs over the Mountain Cart route.
