Climbing World Championships 2018 in Innsbruck

From 6 to 16 September 2018.

A top event for rock climbing fans as the Climbing World Championships will take place in Innsbruck in 2018. Climbers will battle it out for medals in four disciplines:lead, bouldering, speed and paraclimbing. The paraclimbing discipline enables people with disabilities to showcase their climbing skills. 750 athletes from 70 different countries will give it their all in these four categories, cheered on by 40,000 live spectators. 

National Climbing Centre at OlympiaWorld Innsbruck 

The competition will take place at two sports centres in the city - the brand new Innsbruck Climbing Centre and the larger OlympiaWorld Innsbruck, in which the medals will als be presented. An extra highlight for all climbing fans will be the market place in Innsbruck's city centre, where all climbing lovers can enjoy films, concerts and slide shows.
