Downhill Cup Innsbruck
A mountain bike showdown in two locations: on the Nordkette Singletrail and at Muttereralmpark. These venues host the three downhill races known as the Innsbruck Downhill Cup. The races are open to both professionals and amateurs, making this sports event the perfect stage for amateur bikers who want to demonstrate their skills. A special challenge: riding down the Nordkette Singletrail, which is considered Europe's most difficult singletrack.
The Nordkette Singletrail and Bikepark Innsbruck
Bikepark Innsbruck is a biker's paradise located in Innsbruck's western holiday villages. It features beginner trails and practice courses for mountain bikers and downhill fans, making it ideal for your first attempt at a singletrack and for smooth riding fun. The Nordkette is more challenging: even experienced riders have to gather all their willpower to take on the singletrack that runs down from the Seegrube at 2,000 metres to the Hungerburg district. Extreme gradients and difficult terrain make this track the ultimate challenge. Not for beginners, but a lot of fun for advanced riders!
