Innsbruck Nature Film Festival

Nature, environment and sustainability – these topics are at the heart of the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival. The festival originated from the Innsbruck Nature Film Days, which had been enriching the cultural scene in the Tyrolean state capital since 2002, evolving in 2013 into an international film competition, the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival. In 2020, the INFF will be held for the 19th time from 6 to 9 October. Innsbruck is the host city and there is no better location for this kind of film festival: set in the heart of the Alps, just a stone's throw away from the next mountain experience, Innsbruck was always predestined to be part of the nature film scene. The success of INFF and the increasing importance and urgency of the topic "nature and the environment" in daily life led to the creation of the integrative, multidisciplinary International Nature Festival (INF), which has been held since 2018. The International Nature Festival from 2 to 10 October 2020 will be a festival of moving images that move their audience, of encounters and moments. Digital and real, natural and genuine.
