Circular hike to the Neue Alplhütte - Mieminger Plateau
For sporty and adventurous types!
From the hikers' parking lot above Wildermieming we hike on the "Ochsenbründlsteig" trail, initially somewhat steeper and later more moderate, through varied terrain to the Neue Alplhütte. We allow ourselves an extensive stop, because the hut is not only known for its idyllic location in front of the imposing walls of the Mieminger chain, but also for the "guate" Tyrolean food. The round tour leads us along a beautiful forest path down to the Straßberghaus and from there back to our starting point.
Walking time without optional stop: approx. 4 hrs
