FACE MASKS NO LONGER REQUIRED
From 15 June 2020, face masks will no longer be required in most cases. The one-metre social distancing rule still applies.
Face masks are still mandatory:
- On public transport and in taxis
- At events in enclosed spaces (except at your assigned seat)
- On gondolas, cable cars and funiculars, on tour buses and in the indoor areas of passenger boats.
- In pharmacies
- For services where the 1-metre social distancing rule cannot be maintained and no other protective measures (e.g. plexiglass barriers) are in place
Cultural facilities and Events
Museums, galleries and cultural sites have been allowed to reopen from mid-May. Before your visit, please be sure to check the opening times, which may currently differ from the regular opening hours.
Major events have been cancelled until the end of August. Smaller events are allowed to be held again now and will be listed in our events calendar as soon as we have the details.
