Accommodationdescription
The Hochmahdalm is a small and cosy mountain hut located on Patscherkofel mountain to the south of Innsbruck. The hut is based at an altitude of 1,907 metres above sea level and about a 20-minute walk south of the "Schutzhaus Patscherkofel" (the mountain lift station of the Patscherkofelbahn lift). The route to the Hochmahdalm is easy and runs along a forest road or, in winter, along a winter hiking trail. The hut is sheltered from the wind, which makes it a pleasant place for summer and winter sports enthusiasts to take a break. The restaurant serves traditional Tyrolean cuisine with wonderful views. The terrace overlooks both the Inn Valley and the Stubai Valley. The hut can sleep up to nine people: it has two double rooms and one multi-bed room for up to five people.
