The Potsdamer Hütte is a mountain hut located on a viewing platform with stunning views of the 3,026-metre-high Lisenser Villerspitze. The Fotsch, as the Fotscher Valley is affectionately known, has become a popular destination for hiking and ski touring not least due to its untouched natural surroundings. The hut is ideal for short visits both in summer and winter, as well as for stays of several days. It is also worth mentioning that the Potsdamer Hütte has been awarded the DAV (German Alpine Club) "child-friendly hut" rating and has a lot to offer young mountaineers aged eight and over, especially in summer.
