DRINKING FOUNTAINS
Crystal clear water flows down from the mountains and straight into Innsbruck's water supply. When out and about, there are a multitude of free drinking fountains to quench your thirst. You can find them on our map.
Fountain Maria-Immaculata
The fountain originates from the 19th century. Maria is portrayed here as the Mother of God, untainted by Original
Sin. Her attributes include the lily as the symbol of purity, the Serpent of Paradise, the globe as well as the twelve
stars that shine around her head. Both houses behind the well are decorated by interesting facade paintings. Of note is the large three-kings fresco on the savings bank, which however is a copy. The original was transferred to the Franciscan church in order to protect the monument.
