Alpine curling is an old Tyrolean tradition and an especially sociable winter sport. Cone-shaped ice sticks with flat bottoms are pushed across smooth ice with as much precision as possible, while the players enjoy a good chat during the breaks in play. Black tea with rum, beer or schnapps definitely compliment this sport, a sport reminiscent of the popular Canadian curling, except without a broom and the stones are much lighter. Try it out during your winter holiday! Our map will show you all the alpine curling places in and around Innsbruck.
