Aldranser Alm, mountain hut
The Aldranser Alm mountain hut boasts a truly prime location above the city of Innsbruck, complete with an unparalleled panoramic view of the Nordkette massif and the provincial capital. A leisurely hike of around 1½ hours takes walking enthusiasts up to the ‘Alm’, while mountain bikers follow the sign-posted route no. 554.
On a culinary level, visitors to the Aldranser Alm can savour not only authentic Tyrolean delights, but also several less-traditional dishes, homemade cakes and freshly baked bread. Early birds can even enjoy a mountain breakfast amid the peaceful Alpine setting.
The old, wooden ‘Alte Stube’ room is ideal for seminars and workshops, as well as for family celebrations such as christenings, birthdays or weddings.
This is a mountain hut with a difference, one where there’s always something going on – from mountainside yoga, to monthly full-moon jazz concerts, to sports events such as the Viggartrophy duathlon and the Aldranser Alm mountain bike race.
