Route to start
The Besinnungsweg (Path of Reflection) starts and ends at the over 500-year-old Parish Church of St Magnus in Ranggen. Free parking is available at the parish church and just below it in the restaurant car park at "die Weiberleit". The yellow signpost below the parish church points you in the right direction. The route initially turns right onto a bypass through the village, past the districts of Riedpuite and Viescheide, and follows paved roads for a short stretch until you reach the first station of the Path of Reflection, which is located just above Ranggen. From there onwards, the route leads along soft forest trails. The shady trail leads uphill through the forest to the chapel, passing seven different stations that invite you to enjoy moments of reflection along the way. From there, you can follow the forest road back to the parish church.
