From the top of the Patscherkofelbahn gondola to Rinn.
This route starts at the mountain lift station of the Patscherkofelbahn gondola and leads along the Zirbenweg trail to Boscheben. From there, it follows a trail downhill to the Meissner Haus alpine guesthouse and along a forest road towards Mühltal until it reaches the transport cable car (used to move goods). There, cross the stream to the right and follow the signs for the Almenweg 1600. Continue along the paths and trails towards Gartengatterl, where you will enjoy impressive views of the Stubai Valley and the Stubai Glacier. At the crossroads, keep right and continue at the same altitude to the Patscher Alm mountain hut (1,684 m). From the Patscher Alm, take the forest path down towards Patsch. At Ochsenschlagboden, you come to the ski run towards Igls, cross the Igler Alm Boden and follow the signs towards the Lanser Alm mountain hut (1,718 m). From the Lanser Alm, take the forest road heading north, following the signs for Lans, Sistrans and the Sistranser Alm. At the first sharp left-hand bend, the route continues straight on to the Sistranser Alm mountain hut (1,608 m). From the Sistranser Alm, follow the forest road that leads gradually downhill for about half a kilometre until you arrive at the first intersection. From there, continue straight on towards the Aldranser Alm mountain hut (1,511 m) and Hirschlacke. Then take the narrow mountain path leading north-east and follow signs to the Rinner Alm mountain hut (1,394 m). Finally, take the forest road to the village of Rinn (921 m).
