To hike from Praxmar to Gries, first follow the road up to the hairpin bends at Kniepiss. When you come to the bridge, you'll see the start of the Panoramaweg trail (no. 1), which turns off to the left before the bridge and leads past a waterfall to Juifenau before continuing on to Gries. Alternatively, you can stay on the left-hand side of the stream when you come to the Hallschrotbrücke bridge and take the slightly shorter route past the hamlet of Narötz to Gries.
