This route starts on Rathausplatz square and leads east along Dörferstraße road, before turning right along Wiesenweg to house no. 10 and then right again onto Schulstraße road. From there, you can turn off onto Bauerngasse road to admire the oldest farms in Rum. Then follow Schulstraße road past the primary school and all the way to the fountain at the edge of the spruce grove. Along the way, you'll see the Pestkapelle (Plague Chapel) and the infiltration basin for the mountain stream on your left. Carry on through the village and up Bahnhofstraße road, past the toposcope with information about the surrounding mountains and back to the fountain. The route then continues along Holunderweg before making a quick right turn across the first bridge and following Krautfeldweg and St. Georges-Weg back to the church.
