The route follows Aurain and passes the village secondary school and the Purner-Weindl wayside cross before continuing along a path across the fields towards Arzl in the west. Your destination – the Kalvarienberg (or calvary hill) with its chapel and Stations of the Cross – can be seen from afar and serves as a guide.
The return route starts north of the village road by the Arzl parish church and follows the Canisiusweg trail all the way back to Rum.
