Forecast

An area of low pressure is spreading over Central Europe and we are under its influence, unfortunately. We will therefore see changing, but mostly dense cloud with occasional showers.

Tendency

Behind today’s weather fronts, the airflow will quickly swing to the south and bring us once again warm, subtropical air masses. Under the influence of foehn winds, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be warm.

Eduard Wallnöfer Square

Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz
Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz 3, 6020  Innsbruck
+43 512 / 50 80

Opening Hours

This square, which is home to the State Governmental buildings and named after former governor Eduard Wallnöfer, is just a few short steps away from Maria Theresien Street. Often seen architecturally as a 'young' square, it was actually constructed in the late 1930s. 'Young' could, however, be used to describe the people who frequent the square, especially Innsbruck's skateboarders who love to hang out here, among the many obstacles and ramps, perfectly placed for them and BMX lovers to practice their moves.

A collection of monuments decorate the square and ensure its role as a destination for fans of modern architecture.
