The Potsdamer Hütte is located at 2.020 meters above sea level on an observation deck and serves as an ideal starting point for tours in summer and winter. Those who come here enjoy the best view of the 3.026 meter high Lisenser Villerspitze, which completes the Fotschertal. The untouched nature of this area makes the Fotsch (as the Fotschertal is also called) a popular hiking and ski tour area.
The Potsdamer Hütte is an ideal destination for families. It carries the title "child-friendly hut" of the DAV.
The shortest way to the Potsdamer Hütte begins at the Gasthaus Bergheim near Sellrain. From here, the walk takes one and a half to two hours.
