This via ferrata on the 500-m-high vertical rock face known as the Martinswand near Zirl is one of the most difficult climbing routes in the East Alpes.

Entrance: 640 m
Difference in altitude: 400 m
Duration of the climbing tour: approx. 4 hrs

Branch-off to the chapel-like "Kaiser Maximilian Grotto" in the first part (Section 1, D - very difficult).
The second part (Section 2, E - extremely difficult) is recommended only for experienced climbers.

Climbing equipment and helmet are obligatory.

The climbing route is CLOSED!!!
