Weak weather fronts with thundery air masses are approaching from France. Our area of high pressure will not be able to keep them away completely and this is why clouds will form on Wednesday after a bright morning and produce showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Frequent showers will bring a temporary drop in temperature tomorrow. On Friday the weather will improve again and on Saturday we will see a return to sunshine and pleasantly warm temperatures.
Would you like to discover the real Innsbruck and its holiday villages? A performance by one of the local bands is an essential part of every authentic holiday experience. Because making music is a tradition here. The locals accompany celebrations and special occasions with drums, trumpets and all sorts of other musical instruments. A concert is sure to be taking place during your stay; they are held year round: from summer open-air concerts and traditional festivals to atmospheric performances during the Christmas season.
A treat for the ears and a feast for the eyes
The people in and around Innsbruck are truly passionate about music. In Tyrol, there are more brass bands than municipalities: 300 brass brands across just 279 municipalities. These traditional local bands have been cherished and fostered for over 200 years. Performances are also a feast for the eyes – every band wears traditional dress featuring their club colours. This tradition connects multiple generations, bringing people of all ages together to make music.
