Nordkette Autumn Festival
The peak of the senses
The Nordkette Autumn Festival takes place every year over three weekends in October. This unique event is held at the Seegrube above Innsbruck, located 1,905 metres above sea level. Live music, culinary delights, traditional “Schuhplattler” dancers and alphorn players create the perfect atmosphere for exuberant celebrations. Gourmets can enjoy an excellent selection of Tyrolean specialties at Alpenrestaurant Seegrube – and the many market stalls on Saturdays and Sundays also offer lots of delights to taste and enjoy.
The free childcare programme every Sunday is a hit with little mountaineers.
Panorama. Delicacies. Delights.
The Seegrubenbahn cable car takes visitors quickly and easily up to the Nordkette mountain range and straight into the heart of the celebrations – surrounded by majestic peaks and wonderful panoramic views high above the rooftops of Innsbruck. The special setting is particularly romantic at night when the lights of the city below mirror the stars above.
The Seegrubenbahn cable car runs later on certain weekends. Freizeittickets are valid. Information about tickets and reservations:
